Descending aorta subject-specific one-dimensional model validated against in vivo data
Aims : The objective was to develop a robust subject-specific one-dimensional wave propagation numerical model of the descending aorta.
The proposed model was robust and showed good agreement with established physiological knowledge regarding pressure changes secondary to arterial alterations as well as with data of healthy subjects.
